In return for gratitude

To forgive and live
To think in your mind
Of what is right

This act needs no enormity
It can be as simple;
As lending a hand
Not something grand

To not judge ,but be judged
To not love , to be loved
Marks the birth inside of you
The birth of a hero

How to write a haiku easy

                                Haiku explained easily

You might think that writing a haiku can be pretty tough .....but when you know how to write one, you will  be so deeply engrossed that you keep experimenting.

  The most basic rules are:

  1.It's only three lines 

  2. The first line should only have 5 syllables

  3. The second line should have only 7 syllables

  4. The last line should have only 5 syllables

These steps can get you writing haikus' in no time.However there is a lot more to Haikus'.

Like : choosing a subject 

          using seasonal references 

          using sensory language

          subject shifts 

  But as I give one example you will understand better

            Over the wintry

            forests, winds howl in rage

            with no leaves to blow

simple just try making your haikus like this 

well writing a  haiku is an art which can only be developed through practise.

IGCSE students alert....... How to write an article. Notes from my teacher

                                 Magazine Article Structure

1. Topic

   Introduce the issue , which may be something topical and in the news , or research recently published, or      proposal which has been put forward by a government or other agency , or the description of the person      that the article will concern,Unlike a news report, which is informative and a speech which is argumentative     , a magazine article is discursive writing.

2. Background

   The article is likely to fill in the past history of the person or event which the article has been written and        what has led to the current state of affairs.

3.Discussion

  The article is likely to return to return to the present day situation at this point  , discussing and giving             different viewpoints of the person or event , with details and examples and quotations , and making               comparisons with the past or with similar topics.Though the writers; own viewpoint may be inferred ,             alternative views must be given equal weight and other voices heard.

4.Prediction

   At this point the article may deal with the future developments or predicted outcome of the present                situation ,E.G.-that a person will go on to become even more famous and successful , or that a current          predicament will become worse if nothing is done about it , or which side will win the political debate

5. Conclusion

    The article needs a neat conclusion , which may be an ironic reference back to the beginning of the article       or a quotation.

We all wish to succeed in life .... so do i......tried interestingly to combine with diwali

             My life is but a failed cracker, waiting to explode

Dreaming is one thing,

Doing is another

We wish to deliver in life 

With a punch or a bang

I know I have wronged

I know I have sinned

As I buy the cracker,

It reflects me - the whole action of it

What a spendthrift I am

And what a time waster

I feel that people do not know,

How good it is to be lazy

We steady the cracker - looks perfect

As we wait for it to burst

But no-I say I don't like it

But there is nothing else I can do

And no again - for when I raised my expectations,

I felt back stabbed - it failed on me!

A lesson from the cracker was all I needed ,

To remind me that it reflects myself

But I am really sure that once I'm calm,

I will come up with a bang!

Not now , not tomorrow,

But soon enough!

A reminder of how powerful words are!

                                      Curse them Words

Spoken are words ; from a blasphemous person

And spoken from him ; actions put into effect

To torture , to kill , to destroy

Oh how words have changed humanity

How people give in to them

To not show the devils inside 

Are words said

To breathe them in and live accordingly

To give and take pain ; A sin

A promise to remember

And never to uphold

There was a choice though ; most people never see

But when in desperation,

These words had to be followed!

To turn events around - impossible

When the deed is done

And everyone is responsible

Those who had to live with it, 

Are now dead

Those who served , met with the same fate

Even though these words can still have value,

An unwanted value,

We have a choice -they never thought they had

Let us move forward

And change many hearts

With words only of love , passion and honour.

Just a simple take on my views of life .....expressed into poetry

                                         Caught in Life

Lose , losing , lost

Words which are unbearable,

Words being pressed ....

To the chests of those who fight,

A possibility which wins over victory

They know not of what they do

As they pull the trigger,

They know not of what will happen,

As they become blinded with fury

The cowards are the ones who do something right

The ones who hide-

In a dark , deep trench,

Not getting caught in the crossfire

They are the ones who really fight,

Against a fight

Shedding tears mean nothing

When the day ends,

And they realize the damage

I lay down my arms and walk.

Walking opposite the war

And as I look far beyond , kicking a stone away,

I realize.....This is life ,

And I cannot run away
